Once I finally got everything working correctly I started to tackle the File History. As well, I started backing up using different multiple external drives in "Backup and Recovery Windows 7".
This seemed to work fine. I have an external with all photos, and my USER library so the initial 1st time backup time was 24 hrs. Then the next backup to sync updated files was 3 hrs. The File History recognized the drive that it backed up to and in the BRW7 I changed settings to add the new drive and was able to get 2 of the drives to fully backup and sync another time.
I then tested to make sure I could access and restore files I might need later. I had a couple of issues but finally it seemed I had found the "workaround". No error code - it just shows it did not update. Then - it would also not backup using my external drives in the Backup and Recovery Windows 7.
It gives error code 0x I searched the forums and tried to troubleshoot but I am at my wits end. I assume the issues in the 2 different Backup programs are connected. The forum for the error code said disable the firewall and I did, it also said the remove java so I did. Nothing 1 helped.
It is still unsuccessful in the backup. It shows all the folders have been backed up - and of course the space is taken but if I click on the folder it is empty. Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community.
